Final Premier League table predicted for Nottingham Forest after summer transfer window
The latest Nottingham Forest news as bookmakers have had their say on what the final Premier League table could look like come May 2024.
Nottingham Forest have had an impressive start to the new Premier League season, especially when considering the tough fixtures they have faced.
The Reds went into the first international break of the season on a high after beating Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge. Anthony Elanga’s 48th minute goal was enough to claim the points.
That result means Forest have won two and lost two of their opening four league games – and those defeats were at Arsenal and Manchester United.
As a result, Steve Cooper’s men currently sit in ninth in the Premier League table, a definite step up as they look to build on last season’s 16th place finish, when safety was secured before the final game of the campaign.
Cooper has been backed in the transfer window. Deadline day saw one big sale in Brennan Johnson, who left for Spurs, but seven new arrivals as the Forest boss made late moves in the market.
The new faces could make their debuts after the international break when Forest take on newly-promoted Burnley at the City Ground on Monday night (7.45pm kick off). Ahead of that, we’ve taken a look at what the bookmakers have said about how the final table could look.
It’s no surprise to see Man City at the top of the table again. Odds have Forest finishing the season in 14th place, two places better than last season.
Here’s a look at the latest odds from experts at oddschecker , and how the full table could look if their predictions are proven to be correct.
