The reporter disclosed that West Ham is interested in the striker and that the Hammers have obtained information about him.

Since Lille president Olivier Letang has openly supported a summer transfer, and David has one more year on his deal, it is expected that the forward will be available for a reasonable price.

David transferred from Belgian team Gent to Lille four years ago in a record deal for the French franchise.

He has 84 goals in just 183 games played.

At the Copa America, the Canadian international is presently away on international service.

Several of the top teams in Europe have taken notice of him due to his steady performance over the past several seasons.
