West Brom has announced a hero’s tribute in honor of the deceased.

A hero’s tribute has been announced by West Brom in memory of the departed.

The passing of former footballer Ian Hamilton has been confirmed by West Bromwich Albion.

Between 1992 and 1998, the midfielder made 282 appearances for The Baggies, scoring 28 goals throughout that time.

Hamilton was a key contributor to Albion’s play-off promotion from Division Two in 1993 and appeared in every league game during that year.

And the team has announced that they would give him a minute of applause before the start of the team’s next home game against Millwall on Saturday, September 23.

West Bromwich Albion released the following statement after learning of the passing of former player Ian Hamilton, 55.

“Albion will honor Ian with a minute of applause before the start of their upcoming home game against Millvwall on September 23.

“Every member of the football team offers Ian’s family and friends their sincere condolences during this incredibly sad time.West Brom, Leeds United, and Coventry will all finish shockingly in the new anticipated Championship table.
