As Labor Day approaches, several local government offices and service schedules will be affected. Here’s what you need to know to plan accordingly.
Garbage Collection Adjustments
If you’re in Cammack Village, Jacksonville, Little Rock, or North Little Rock, expect your garbage collection to be delayed by one day. This adjustment also applies to recycling services in Little Rock. In Maumelle, collections scheduled from Monday through Wednesday will be pushed back by a day. Sherwood will see Monday’s garbage collection happening on Tuesday, while Wrightsville will maintain its regular schedule. For those in unincorporated Pulaski County, garbage collection will also be delayed by one day for areas both north and south of the river.
Government Office Closures
Most government offices will be closed on Labor Day. This includes Cammack Village, Jacksonville, Little Rock, and the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority. Maumelle’s offices will also be closed for the day.
Be sure to check the specific schedules for your local services and offices to avoid any inconvenience during the holiday.
