Tim Legler of ESPN believes Jimmy Butler should be traded by the Miami Heat.

Tim Legler, an NBA analyst on ESPN, believes the Miami Heat should let go of Jimmy Butler. Legler believes that finding a younger partner is necessary. He said that while Butler is unquestionably a crucial player in the postseason, he often gets by during the regular season.

Legler does not feel the Heat should provide Butler the two-year contract extension he seeks. “Let’s fold,” Legler stated on ESPN’s NBA Today broadcast. “I realise that’s a bold statement, but I sensed something from the Heat last year. I believe they want Jimmy Butler to prioritise the regular season more than he does. They’ve become annoyed with it.”

Legler concluded by noting that Butler’s relationship with the Heat had recently worsened.

“They want more from Jimmy Butler and I don’t think this is trending in the right direction,” Legler told the crowd.
