This summer, a Man United player will follow Varane and Martial in departing the team for free.
The Manchester United wonderkid Shola Shoretire is allegedly planning to depart the squad on a free transfer. Even though he is only twenty years old, Shoretire has missed a lot of time due to injury since he made his Premier League debut three seasons ago against Newcastle, when he was seventeen years and fourteen days old.
The young player has not got many opportunities at the club since Erik ten Hag took control. The way Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo have gone from the youth teams to the main lineup is commendable. Since everyone wants to go on the senior squad as soon as possible, not every young person has the skill or patience to achieve that.
According to Manchester World, the player decided to quit the team as a free agent since he was unable to fulfil his obligation to do so. Reporter Rich Fay claims that Shoretire “looks set to depart Manchester United as a free agent despite being offered a new contract by the club.” The organisation wants to lock Shoretire down so they can give him a chance throughout preseason before loaning him away.
