Tanguy Ndombele has left Tottenham Hotspur to join Galatasaray, with Sergio Reguilon offering him a message of support.

Sergio Reguilon has sent Tanguy Ndombele a letter of encouragement as the pair leave Tottenham Hotspur on loan.

The transfer deadline in England expired on Friday, but teams can still unload players to countries where the window is still open.

One such country is Turkey, where Tottenham has sent not one, but two players.

Galatasaray have made a double move, loaning midfielder Ndombele and permanently buying Davinson Sanchez.

Neither player appeared to be in Ange Postecoglou’s plans and has now moved on to first-team action in Turkey.

Tanguy Ndombele receives a telegram from Sergio Reguilon.
Ndombele finalized his transfer on Monday, despite not being included in Ange Postecoglou’s Premier League matchday squads.

The Frenchman is anxious to relaunch his career in Turkey and will try to flourish for Galatasaray.

Ndombele celebrated his move by posting a photo of himself in a Galatasaray shirt for the first time on Instagram.

‘Cim bom bom,’ said the post, part of a chant from the Galatasaray crowd as Ndombele aims to make an early impression.

Former Tottenham teammate Sergio Reguilon responded in the comments, simply calling the Frenchman ‘Ndomballer,’ a name Spurs fans used to use but probably haven’t heard in a while.

Reguilon has also departed Tottenham Hotspur.
Reguilon has recently joined Ndombele in departing Tottenham on loan.

After a poor loan spell with Atletico Madrid, the Spanish left defender returned to Tottenham this summer.

Postecoglou had no intentions for Reguilon, and Tottenham were content to loan him to Manchester United.

The Red Devils wanted a loan left back at least until January, with a break provision that might see Reguilon return to Tottenham.

We’d be surprised if Reguilon or Ndombele ever played for Tottenham again, but they need to make these loan moves count following a rough few years.
