This Saturday, Susan G. Komen, the prominent breast cancer organization, is hosting an exciting fundraiser in Plain City, Ohio, at Elysium Tennis. The event, called Pickleball for the Cure, aims to bring together the local community in support of breast cancer awareness and research.

Partnering with Doubletake and Elysium Tennis, Susan G. Komen has crafted an engaging and activity-filled evening for participants. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Elysium Tennis, located at 7637 Commerce Place, where attendees will have a chance to enjoy a variety of activities while contributing to a great cause.

Among the highlights of the night will be a silent auction, providing guests with the opportunity to bid on unique items. Additionally, there will be a DJ on site to keep the energy lively, along with snacks to fuel participants throughout the evening. Attendees will also have access to both organized pickleball matches and open courts, ensuring players of all levels can enjoy the sport.

For those new to the game, a clinic will be held at 6 p.m. to teach the basics of pickleball, offering an easy entry point for beginners. Immediately following, at 6:30 p.m., organized play will begin, allowing participants to put their newfound skills to the test in a fun, supportive environment.

This fundraiser is more than just a sporting event—it’s an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research, bringing together community members to rally behind an important cause.
