The Tennessee Volunteers have been a very hot topic of conversation in the NCAA Transfer Portal. They’ve added several key contributors and lost a few, but the coaching staff continues to ensure the roster is in contending shape for next season. However, they got news on a former player front on Friday afternoon.

Defensive back Brandon Turnage committed to the Ole Miss Rebels. Two of his former teammates opted to join Ole Miss earlier in the cycle, but both flipped to Louisville. However, Turnage is a native of Oxford, Mississippi, and the allure of contending in the SEC and playing close to home won out for him.

The offseason is underway for Tennessee football. The Vols have concluded the season and are now focusing on roster construction for the 2023 season.
