Tennessee Football Injury Report: @ Kentucky
The Tennessee Volunteers still have a question to answer on the injury report before facing the Kentucky Wildcats.
The Vols carried a loaded injury report into Kentucky week, but they also had a lot of answers. The injuries they do have are more long-term, and they only have one question mark on the report before kickoff this evening.
- Gerald Mincey – (Probable) – Mincey practiced with the team all week and is expected to play, according to head coach Josh Heupel.
- Keenan Pili – OUT. Pili was supposed to be a big contributor on this defense but has only played in two games after suffering an injury against Austin Peay. He’s expected back at some point this season, but it will likely be several more weeks before he’s ready.
- DeSean Bishop – OUT. Bishop hasn’t officially been ruled out for the season and could return at some point, but the true freshman running back hasn’t seen time this season yet.
- Kamal Hadden – OUT FOR SEASON. Hadden underwent season-ending surgery earlier this week after sustaining an upper-body injury against Alabama.
- Bru McCoy – OUT FOR SEASON. McCoy underwent ankle surgery after the South Carolina game and will miss the rest of the season.
- Tyree Weathersby – OUT FOR SEASON. Weathersby was turning a corner in preseason camp and would have seen snaps as a true freshman, but a camp injury will have him take this year as a redshirt.
- Christian Charles – OUT FOR SEASON. Charles underwent Achilles surgery earlier this month and will miss the rest of the season for the Vols.
- Kwauze Garland – OUT FOR SEASON. Garland is still recovering from an upper-body injury sustained against Ball State in 2022 and was ruled out in the preseason.
