Rugged Spain defeats Georgia to go to the quarterfinals of the Euro 2024

On Sunday, a commanding Spain defeated Georgia 4-1 to go to the current Euro 2024 quarterfinals in Germany.

On Friday, Spain will take on Germany in the quarterfinals.

An own goal by Georgia gave them the lead in the eighteenth minute. After a cross, Robin Le Normand attempted to block the ball and let it go into his own goal’s right post, which was a regrettable own goal.

The 39th minute saw Spain tie the score. Nico Williams made a deft pass to find Rodri. To make it 1-1, he moved inside his man on the box’s edge and fired a fantastic shot into the lower right corner.
