There is now word on when Wolves aim to sign Gary O’Neil to a new and better contract at Molineux. Wolves have long been eager to accomplish this.
A year ago, he took Julen Lopetegui’s place, arriving few days before the 2023–24 season began. He was immediately up against it. However, O’Neil shocked a lot of people by leading Wolves to a very respectable Premier League finish in 14th place. After some terrible VAR rulings and injuries to important players, Wolves were actually extremely unfortunate to end that low. The preseason has been good thus far, and there is genuine excitement going into the new campaign.
