Well-Timed Picture Offers Glowing Representation Of Celtics Parade

Following their capture of Banner 18, the Celtics celebrated with a parade through Boston’s streets on Friday that was fit for an NBA championship.

Throughout the procession route, Jayson Tatum held the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and he hasn’t taken it down since the Celtics won in Game 5 of the 2024 NBA Finals.

The Celtics really shone to cap off a championship season, just as the trophy did in this image on X, now known as Twitter, among a number of other noteworthy photos from Friday’s parade.

The sun hit the trophy just right, flashing light off the gold and creating quite the visual.

With a 16-3 postseason record that culminated in a series victory over the Dallas Mavericks, winners of the Western Conference, the Celtics claimed a record 18th championship. Boston dominated the entire regular season, winning 64-18 to secure the best record in the league.
