‘Perfect’ Chelsea player will now be fit to face Arsenal after the international break

Reece James will reportedly be fit and ready to go for Chelsea by the end of the international break, according to reports.

The skipper will be allowed to play against Arsenal in their upcoming Premier League contest, according to London World.

James has been sorely missed since the first game of the season, where he looked to lead his side into a new era where he was the face of it.

On the first day of the season, he played exceptionally well against Liverpool, but it soon became clear that he had sustained yet another injury.

Many people did not anticipate that he would not have returned to action by October, despite the fact that the extent at the time was unknown.

Malo Gusto had initially been covering for him on that side while he was away. However, a red card against Aston Villa ended his first season with the team.

Since then, the role has been unexpectedly filled by Marc Cucurella for the last three games. These have coincided with the Blues’ last three victories.

The Spaniard in particular has been impressive in these victories, as he looks to get his Chelsea career back on track.

However, it may be time for James to return when title-contending Arsenal make the short trip across London.

Mauricio Pochettino is already a massive fan of the player, and this was shown straight away when he was named the club captain.

The manager described him as the ‘perfect’ player in an early interview, and will no doubt be counting down the days until he is available for selection again.
