New York Knicks star Josh Hart finalizing new four-year, $81million deal
The New York Knicks are closing in a four-year contract extension with Josh Hart worth $81million.
The 28-year-old Hart will stay in New York through to the 2027-28 season.
Hart was traded to the Knicks from the Portland Trail Blazers in February, in a four-team trade.
Josh Hart said his preference was to be with the Knicks long-term and now it appears that will be a reality.
The two sides are finalizing a four-year, $81 million extension, ESPN reported, on the first day that Hart is eligible to
be extended after he opted into the first year of his contract.
Hart will earn $94 million through 2027-2028 season
The 28-year-old was a major factor for the Knicks after coming over in a trade from the Trail Blazers.
The Knicks won the first nine games he played in and Hart was a vital part of the team winning its first playoff series
in a decade.
