New World record :DeChambeau boost, Nashville sets …..

College Grove, Tennessee — According to LIV Golf, the Nashville tournament set a record for attendance among the league’s United States events to date. LIV communications reported that nearly 40,000 people attended the competition at The Grove over three days. This comprised 14,454 sold-out crowds on Saturday and Sunday.

LIV Golf’s Washington, D.C. tournament at Trump National Golf Club in May achieved the highest attendance figure. Although no official statistic was provided, it was estimated that approximately 40,000 fans attended.

According to a league spokeswoman, LIV Nashville was on track to break the record when Bryson DeChambeau won the US Open at Pinehurst No. 2. However, attention grew as DeChambeau played in Nashville just days after his spectacular victory over Rory McIlroy. According to LIV, on-site retail sales during the first two days exceeded any three-day sales for a U.S. event.
