Following his loan move from Crystal Palace to Derby County, David Ozoh has been likened to a single player.

In anticipation of the 2024–25 Championship season, Derby County has already added five players. Paul Warne wants to improve on his team’s 2023–24 automatic promotion from League One.

Prioritizing midfield additions ahead of the upcoming season, Rams manager Todd Warne has brought in players like Ebou Adams, Kenzo Goudmijn, and Ben Osborn to Pride Park.

Despite this, they have done a fantastic job of replacing the players who helped the Rams return to the Championship.

David Ozoh, a new midfield addition, joined on loan from Crystal Palace this summer as well. Warne was highly complimentary of the youthful midfield player upon his arrival.

With comparisons to recent Derby County arrival Adams, Warne has expressed a great deal of love for newcomer Ozoh.

“I watched him [David Ozoh] play a few times for the under-21s,” Paul Warne stated, as reported by Derby Telegraph.

“He is a very athletic and tenacious player who keeps the ball moving. He disrupts the play and quickly launches an attack on us.

He is a player that is comparable to Ebou Adams.

Everyone who has competed in the Premier League deserves honor, including him, as he was a substitute in Crystal Palace’s first team the previous season.

He’s a very modest, grounded young man who plans to use this loan to grow both as a man and a player.

His agent and I had a conversation. I had a positive relationship with one of the agent’s players in the past.
