Leeds United is making a late push to secure Queens Park Rangers’ playmaker Ilias Chair, according to sources. The 26-year-old Moroccan international has caught the attention of Leeds as they seek a replacement for Georgino Rutter in the number 10 position.

Chair is approaching the final year of his contract with QPR, prompting Leeds to test the club’s willingness to let him go. Should he choose not to renew his contract, this transfer window represents QPR’s last chance to benefit financially from his departure.

The recent loss of Crysencio Summerville has further depleted Leeds’ attacking options, adding urgency to their search for reinforcements. Despite ongoing efforts to address this gap, Leeds has yet to finalize any deals.

Leeds is targeting Chair specifically for his experience and proven ability in the Championship. With 217 appearances in the league, he has scored 34 goals and provided an equal number of assists, making him a valuable addition to the team’s attacking lineup.

In addition to Chair, Leeds is also pursuing Dejan Lubicic. Reports suggest that Koln is prepared to accept a £7 million offer for Lubicic after initially rejecting a lower bid. As the transfer deadline approaches, Leeds fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on these potential signings.
