LAKERS NEWS: Lakers Preparing A 3-Year, $160 Million Contract For LeBron James which made…..

A maximum three-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers is expected for LeBron James in advance of his upcoming free agency. If LeBron James decides to look for a switch this summer, he might become the biggest free agent to hit the market. Although James’s Lakers contract has a $51 million player option that he is expected to choose not to exercise, all signs point to a possible reunion with the team. According to Dave McMenamin, James already has a maximum three-year contract in place with the Lakers.

James can choose to enter the last year of his Lakers deal or become an unrestricted free agent until June 29. Los Angeles is determined to sign James again and would extend an offer to him for a maximum of three years.

James will make $160 million over the course of a three-year contract extension, or $53.3 million on average per season. It’s a little rise over his current salary, but if James wanted to play until the 2027–2028 season, it would get him through.

LeBron James may play with or against both of his children on an NBA court before retiring, since his younger son Bryce is also anticipated to develop into a talent at the NBA level in the future. James would also be 44 years old by the conclusion of this agreement. It is truly impossible to argue with the pricing in terms of production. In his record 21st NBA season, James averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists last season. Having been selected for 20 consecutive years, he holds the record for most All-NBA Team selections in NBA history. Although it will be difficult for James to perform at the All-NBA level as he ages, there is no denying his importance to this team when he is on the court.
