Brandon Hunter, a former NBA player with the Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic, passed away at the age of 42.
‘RIP to a Bobcat Great,’ said Jeff Boals on Instagram and X to announce his demise. Boals is the head coach of the men’s basketball team at Ohio. “Way too soon gone.”
T.J. Ford, a former NBA point guard, also commented on Hunter’s passing on Instagram, writing: “Lost another good brother.” Peace out, dear friend.
No cause of death has been disclosed as of yet. Following a playing career that ultimately brought him to Europe and outside the NBA, Hunter founded his own sports management firm, Hunter Athletes Management.
