TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has said that he would love to see Tottenham Hotspur sign Kaoru Mitoma from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The former Tottenham Hotspur player has said on talkSPORT (5:36pm, August 19, 2023) that Kaoru Mitoma is a very good winger and would love to see Spurs sign the Brighton and Hove Albion star in the summer transfer window.
O’Hara has added that he does not think that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will splash the cash to secure the services of the 26-year-old Japan international winger.
The pundit made the comments about Mitoma while discussing his goal and performance for Brighton against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at Molineux Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The winger found the back of the net in the 15th minute after beating four defenders on his way to netting past goalkeeper Jose Sa.
Interestingly, Mitoma has been linked with Tottenham’s bitter North London rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
TalkSPORT reported last week that Arsenal are interested in the winger, but Brighton do not want to sell him and are confident that he will put pen to paper on a new deal.
Jamie O’Hara would love Brighton and Hove Albion winger Kaoru Mitoma at Tottenham Hotspur
O’Hara said about Tottenham and Mitoma: “I would love him, but we ain’t going to get him.
“I don’t know what we are going to spend our money on, but we ain’t going to buy Mitoma, that’s for sure.”
Mitoma has made 35 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The 26-year-old Japan international winger has scored eight goals and given seven assists in those matches.
Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
