According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Randal Kolo Muani rejected the chance to join Tottenham Hotspur in favour of a move to Paris Saint-Germain as the North London club hesitated to substantiate their interest in the striker

There have been plenty of names put forward over the last couple of weeks as potential replacements for Harry Kane at Spurs, with the prolific Kolo Munai being one of them.

The centre-forward, who netted 23 goals and registered 17 assists last season following his switch to Eintracht Frankfurt, was said to be on the North London club’s radar, with Bild even claiming earlier this summer that the Premier League side were prepared to shatter their transfer record to sign the Frenchman.

The 24-year-old now looks set for a move to Pairs, with reports over the past 24 hours indicating that PSG are close to striking a deal worth €70m (£60m) for the centre-forward (Santi Auona).

Tavolieri has now taken to social media to claim that the Frankfurt star turned down a move to Tottenham due to their indecision.

The journalist asserted that the Lilywhites ‘lost too much time’ and that their hesitance in making a concrete move for Kolo Muani meant that the striker decided to head to the French capital instead.
