In a heartfelt video that the LTA posted, Sears revealed that watching Murray perform was “unbelievably stressful” and included words from his family and friends. Now, it’s incredibly difficult for me to watch Andy play. Probably because I’m a mother and have four other young children to take care of, I find it incredibly stressful. Andy Murray’s wife commented, “I’ve never seen or known anyone rise to a challenge like he does” (at 8:40).
Although Murray produced thrilling bouts and was good under duress, Sears said that she found his matches to be “unpleasant” to watch.
