It’s been a ruthless offseason for Miami Heat team president Pat Riley because NBA fans are grilling him for his silence in the open free agency market.

If the Heat are done with Herro as a core player, then entertaining trades make sense. The previous offseason indicated that the former Sixth Man of the Year’s trade market value is questionable, but fans would be happy with any significant deal.
Riley needs to take action if the Heat want to avoid making the Play-In Tournament for the third time in a row, even though NBA fans are exaggerating the similarity.
