In an effort to revive a classic, North Melbourne and PUMA have partnered up 25 years after the 1999 premiership.
The Roo Shop currently sells the 2024 away guernsey, which is a comeback of the legendary Bounding Roo guernsey.
The new range, which is part of the third year of the PUMA relationship, has a more traditional appearance and feel. The traditional royal blue and white striped home guernsey, which was unveiled earlier this week, is the standout piece.
North Melbourne’s Brayden George remains on track to play next season despite another injury setback
Brayden George of North Melbourne had surgery to fix a dislocated left elbow.
When George was training off-season while visiting his hometown of Wangaratta, he suffered the injury.
The talented forward was selected with pick No. 26 in the 2022 AFL Draft from the Murray Bushrangers. He had an ACL injury during his draft year, which kept him out of action for the entire 2023 season.
Todd Viney, general manager of football at North Melbourne, said, “This is disappointing news for Brayden, especially after being sidelined for his whole first season with us.”
“He returned to full, unrestricted training in August and was looking forward to getting stuck into his first pre-season in the coming weeks.”
