USC Football: Trojans Offer 4-Star TE, Who Has Already Committed To Big Ten Rival
Your USC Trojans football program is hoping to swoop in and swipe a four-star junior tight who has already committed to a rival Big Ten team.
6’6″, 235-pound tight end DaSaahn Brame out of Derby, Kansas has already committed to play for the Oregon Ducks, after receiving interest from Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, Texas A&M, Kansas State, and Oklahoma.
He announced yesterday on his official X/Twitter account that USC has tendered him an offer:
Per 247Sports, he’s considered the 96th-best prospect from among his prep school class. Brame secured 42 catches this season, totaling 942 yards and 13 scores. He would certainly make for a helpful addendum to the roster.
If the Trojans could actually flip an Oregon recruit, it could go a long way towards curbing the mass exodus of incumbent players currently plaguing Lincoln Riley’s club.
After a disappointing 2023 season ended with an 8-5 finish, several USC players with remaining eligibility jumped ship, either departing via the NCAA’s transfer portal or, in some cases, declaring for the NFL draft. Heisman Trophy-winning junior quarterback Caleb Williams has yet to officially declare, though it seems like a foregone conclusion that the anticipated No. 1 pick won’t be rejoining the Trojans in he fall.
