Steelers QB Kenny Pickett marries former Princeton soccer player Amy Paternoster
Sorry ladies, Kenny Pickett is officially off the market.
It may not be a Super Bowl ring, but the 25-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback now sports a piece of fine jewelry on his wedding finger.
“Thank you to everyone who made our day unforgettable! June 24th, 2023 will forever hold a very special place in our hearts,” Pickett posted on social media Tuesday on behalf of the couple.
The couple began dating in 2021 and got engaged in January of 2022 − the same year the new Mrs. Kenny Pickett graduated from Princeton University, where she played soccer.
The ceremony was conducted by Steelers chaplain Kent Chevalier in front of 275 guests, according to the Asbury Park Press, a division of USA TODAY Network. The Steelers logo was carved out of an ice sculpture that adorned a raw bar.
“We’re super close with our friends who have been with us for our whole lives, so we definitely wanted everyone there to celebrate,” Paternoster stated to People. “We’ve both made a lot of wonderful friends growing up in the sports world, but Kenny’s with Pittsburgh and football in particular. It was crucial to us that we invite the significant people from every phase of our lives to join us in celebrating.”
