This summer, Sorba Thomas, a star for Huddersfield Town, is expected to join FC Nantes.

As stated in their title, L’Equipe claims that the forward will join the Ligue 1 team on loan.

According to the source, Nantes and Huddersfield Town have “reached an agreement” for Nantes to sign the forward on a temporary basis, and the transaction is expected to close soon.

The Wales international’s contract has two years left on it. The report doesn’t say anything more about Nantes’ responsibility or option to extend the loan or make the player’s stay permanent.
During the previous season, Thomas was a standout player for Huddersfield Town, with four goals and nine assists in 41 Championship appearances. He was responsible for little more than 27 percent of the Terriers’ 48 league goals, which saw them demoted to League One.
But next season, the attacker will be competing in France’s top tier. He will be leaving the UK for the first time in his professional career due to the loan transfer.

After joining Huddersfield Town in 2021, Thomas appeared in 125 games and contributed seven goals and 31 assists.
