Since joining Liverpool last summer, football has not been very kind to Calvin Ramsay as the defender has been plagued with injury issues over the last few months.

The right-back arrived from Aberdeen with misdiagnosed back problems, and his injury record has not improved since. The teenager has not played a competitive game at the senior level since his debut for Liverpool in the League Cup win against Derby in November.

Ramsay underwent surgery in February for a major knee injury, thereby ending his first season. Early arrival at Anfield. The defender has now returned to Liverpool’s AXA Training Centre for rehabilitation, as is customary for loanees with long-term ailments. This is just another setback for the kid, who was sent out in order to obtain vital playing time at the senior level.
