A renowned and adored family guy passed away at the age of 56, and tributes have been made to him.

Known to many as “Kappa,” Christopher Martin Gahan was a devoted family guy who loved his grandchildren, Jacob and Isla, as well as Huddersfield Town.

After a brief illness, he passed away on July 15.

Born in Bradley, Huddersfield, Christopher built a large social network by playing and watching football.

He had been a longtime supporter of Huddersfield Town and had played for Sovereign Sports, the Little John bar, and the Deighton Working Men’s Club.

He had previously attended All Saints.

“He was a decent, hardworking man who showed great loyalty to those who mattered most to him.

He enjoyed interacting with others and people-watching. He was well-liked.” He left behind his children, grandchildren, and wife, Adele.

On Friday, August 16, at 11.15 a.m., there will be a funeral at Huddersfield Crematorium,

and then there will be a reception at Bradley Park Golf Club in Huddersfield.
