Jorgen Strand Larsen, the new striker for Wolves, described his signing as “one of the best days of my life”. The 6 feet 4 inches 24-year-old, who has received 14 caps for his native Norway, has agreed to leave Celta Vigo on loan.
“It’s an amazing day,” he exclaimed, unable to contain his excitement at joining and receiving the number nine shirt. One of the happiest days of my life is today.
Being able to sit here and gaze at the field I’ll be playing on in the upcoming years makes me really happy.
“I’ve been in touch with Wolves for a very long period.
“I had a few options after a strong season the previous year, but when Wolves contacted and asked me to come, I had no doubts. It’s going to be incredible, and I’m so excited and proud right now.
Ever since I was a child, visiting the Premier League has been a dream of mine. I’ve been keeping up with it for a while, but it has to be at the proper time, and right now seems like the appropriate time.
“I’m prepared to move forward. I grew up in the Netherlands and at AC Milan, so I’ve experienced some highs and lows and know how to deal with them today.
Gary and I had a discussion. We had a great rapport. There are a few pretty impressive names, and I’m excited to meet them all, get to know them, and build strong relationships with them so that we can score some goals on this pitch.
“I am so excited that I am already twiddling my feet.” We have an important pre-season ahead of us where we’ll go to play some crucial friendly games to be in good shape to win some games here next season. I wish I could skip the next month and get started now.
