Chelsea is currently only £6 million away from reaching an agreement to recruit a new center back.

After confirming the arrival of free agent Tosin Adarabioyo earlier this month, Chelsea is now just £6 million away from reaching an agreement to sign yet another center back this summer.

Naturally, Tosin was a Fulham supporter, but he declined offers from other teams and decided to sign with Chelsea instead of extending his contract there.

However, Chelsea has continued to search for new center backs this transfer window. This one, however, is unlikely to join the first squad right immediately; instead, he’ll likely wind up joining BlueCo, Strasbourg, Chelsea’s sister club.

Naturally, this is all conjecture, and Chelsea and his team haven’t even reached a contract yet.

However, The Daily Mirror claims that Chelsea and his club are only £6 million away from agreeing to that agreement.

Chelsea offers £14 million.
According to the source, Aaron Anselmino is the target of an initial proposal from Chelsea of about £14 million. According to people close to the player, Boca is hesitant to accept the offer and will keep directing potential bidders to Anselmino’s £20 million release clause.

Chelsea is attempting to sign yet another young adolescent from South America before they get too big and too pricey. As Chelsea continues to accumulate youthful talent, we hear about a new young name every day that they are looking to sign.

I have a feeling they’ll view it as a win-win. Because they will be trying to at least sell them all on for a profit if they don’t make it at Chelsea. But I suppose they’ll need to be practicing and playing football in order to accomplish that. It’s a hazardous tactic that could incite unrest at their own Cobham youth academy. Yes, they are skilled in their field, but nevertheless.
