Tatum and Brown had never won a championship before, but they have already advanced to the Finals twice in the last three years (losing to the Warriors in six games in 2022).
We can all assume with confidence that Tatum will eagerly take such a deal, should it be offered. Brown and Tatum will go down as two of the greatest players in franchise history if the Celtics can sustain their current winning streak.
As much credit as they deserve for winning this championship, you also have to give kudos to Brad Stevens, the head of basketball operations, for going out and signing Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday in the offseason. Both players were huge contributors.
