Stories of near-death experiences often pique people’s curiosity, and occasionally they have the power to transform people—or at the very least, increase their appreciation for life and their blessings.
While Dan Quinn, the head coach of the Washington Commanders, may not have experienced the kind of intensely spiritual and bizarre near-death encounter that some have, he did acknowledge that he wasn’t sure he would survive a recent trip he went with general manager Adam Peters.
In an appearance on “Up & Adams,” Quinn disclosed that there was a lot of turbulence on this specific flight, and he and Peters hoped to survive it.
“Hey, man, if this doesn’t go down, I love ya brother,” but it’s not final rites. stated Quinn. “.. Many chuckles today, but you were thinking, “Yo, man, that was serious,” at the time.
As the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys for the previous three seasons, Quinn made his side of the ball appear utterly domineering at times during the previous campaign.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, their defense utterly collapsed against the Green Bay Packers in a blowout loss in the wild-card round of the playoffs, surrendering 48 points.
Quinn will have two players in Washington: wide receiver Terry McLaurin, a true playmaker, and rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who appears to have star potential.
Of course, the fact that the team is now owned by billionaire investor Josh Harris is the main cause for excitement in the nation’s capital.
The Commanders will need some time to succeed, but maybe they are already headed in that direction.
