Steve Cooper could use Caleb Okoli to his advantage as Leicester City eye their next target.

This season, Leicester City is starting to reach out in an attempt to replace players like Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who left the King Power Stadium to reunite with former Foxes manager Enzo Maresca.

Since then, Steve Cooper has sought to replace the English midfielder who contributed 26 goals to the 2023–24 Championship winning season. The former Nottingham Forest coach is showing interest in Celtic and Danish star Matt O’Riley as a potential replacement.

Before the Premier League season began, Cooper also sought for attackers to bolster his roster. Bobby De Cordova-Reid signed after turning down a contract at Fulham.

The recent signing of Caleb Okoli from Atalanta may aid in the continued search of a deal for an attacker.

After Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall finalized a move to London giants Chelsea, Leicester City and Steve Cooper had to focus entirely on finding a replacement for the departing midfield player.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who aspired to play for Chelsea, wowed everyone with an amazing 2023–24 Championship campaign in which he contributed 26 goals while playing for former Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca.

Callum O’Hare, a former midfielder for Coventry City, has also been mentioned as a less expensive option.

The former Nottingham Forest manager has his eye on another player who may be his own Leicester City counterpart of Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White from a tactical standpoint.
