There will be (presumably) bigger moves coming, but the Chicago Bulls added some depth following the 2024 NBA Draft by signing former Illinois forward Marcus Domask to an Exhibit 10 deal.
Domask averaged 15.9 points, five rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game while playing for the Fighting Illini for one season. He and Terrence Shannon Jr. led Illinois to a run to the Elite Eight, but the eventual national champion UConn Huskies defeated them.
The Bulls, who lacked a second-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, now have an opportunity to sign Domask. NBA clubs looking for depth players frequently use exhibit 10 deals.
What does this signify? If all else fails, local fans of the Chicago Illini might still get a close-up look at one of their favourite players from the previous year if he ends up playing for the Windy City Bulls, the Chicago Bulls’ G League club.
