The Athletic reports that Emmanuel Dennis may yet leave Nottingham Fore
st and sign with a Turkish club before the country’s transfer market closes on Friday.
Dennis failed to live up to expectations after joining the Tricky Trees last summer as part of their squad makeover following promotion to the Premier League.
After signing from Watford, he was able to play in a total of 19 league matches for Steve Cooper’s team, scoring just twice.
He had been wanted by Nottingham Forest, but when the major European transfer windows closed, he was still there.
The Nigerian striker might still be able to find a way out, though, as Turkey’s transfer market is still open.
Numerous teams in the nation are interested in signing the Nottingham Forest player.
The player’s representation are in communication with a number of local clubs about the possibility of a loan transfer.
According to reports, Dennis has a good chance of joining a Turkish team by the weekend.
It’s uncertain which team he might join if his transfer to Trabzonspor fails.
The club’s sporting director suggests a potential move for a Tottenham player in the future.
Hugo Lloris is a goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspur. Nice’s sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has refused to reject Nice’s interest in the French team’s goalie.
Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Spurs, has no intentions for Lloris, and the London club wanted to unload the goalie this summer.
Lloris, though, remained with Postecoglou’s team during the recently closed transfer window due to his inability to find a new club
It was rumored that Nice was interested in signing Lloris during the last transfer window.
Ghisolfi, however, has dismissed the rumors as untrue, maintaining that it was not possible to play Lloris as Nice’s number two.
He emphasized that Lloris is French and the goalie likes Nice, which might be a driving force to suit the shot-stopper at the Ligue 1 team while not ruling out a future departure.
It is unclear whether Nice will be able to re-sign Lloris next summer despite Ghisolfi’s assertion that the French club has Lloris on its radar.
