We’re officially in 2024, and the Kentucky Wildcats are on the doorstep of Southeastern Conference play.
The Wildcats are also now ranked No. 6 in the Associated Press Top-25 poll — their highest recognition of the season. And while that may sound like “familiar” territory for Kentucky, it’s actually their highest ranking in the AP Poll to open a new year since the 2016-2017 season.
If you’re more into analytics, KenPom has Kentucky ranked No. 18 overall, No. 7 in offensive efficiency, and no. 50 in defensive efficiency.
