Ish Wainright just finished a season in which he played for the Phoenix Suns in 60 games during the regular season.
The former Baylor standout shot 37.0% from the field and 32.9% from three-point range to average 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
After spending two seasons (both with the Suns) in the NBA, Wainright averaged 3.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game throughout his career. In 105 regular season games, he shot 37.8% from the field and 32.8% from three-point range.
The Suns are coming off a season where they were the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 45-37 record.
They beat the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games) but lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round (in six games).
After a ten-year playoff drought, the Suns have been to the postseason in three straight seasons (and made the NBA Finals in 2021).
The Suns will play their first game of the 2023-24 regular season on October 24 when they visit the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
They have one of the best rosters in the league with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
