A former star Wolverine has been signed by ESPN to appear on the show this weekend. This week’s guest picker is Aidan Hutchinson, a Michigan graduate and top player for the Detroit Lions (EDGE). The news was reported on Friday by On3 Sports.

“On hand for Ohio State vs Michigan on College GameDay in Ann Arbor in Week 13, ESPN is bringing out the big guns.” According to the newspaper, Wolverines great and Detroit Lions player Aidan Hutchinson made his way back to the city on Friday, prepared to take on the role of Celebrity Guest Picker on Saturday.

In 2021, Hutchinson was a standout player for Michigan, as the team made history by defeating Ohio State for the first time in 10 years. The Wolverines’ two standout pass-rushers that season were Hutchinson and David Ojabo. Hutchinson didn’t have to go far since the Lions picked him as the second overall choice in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Hutchinson and the Lions played on Thanksgiving Day, so his appearance on ‘GameDay’ isn’t surprising. The atmosphere will undoubtedly be, um, interesting if early returns are any indication.
