Philadelphia Eagles Land Versatile Offensive Player in Latest 2024 NFL Mock Draft
Can the Philadelphia Eagles bounce back in 2023?
Following an atrocity of the final two months of the 2023 season, the Philadelphia Eagles are eager and ready to get back to their 2022 ways. Already loaded with one of the most talented rosters in all of the NFL, the Eagles didn’t waste any time in bolstering their squad as the club brought in former Pro Bowl tailback, Saquon Barkley from NFC East rivals, New York Giants.
In addition to bringing in Saquon Barkley (Giants), general manager, Howie Roseman also secured the signings of CJ Gardner Johnson (Lions), DaVante Parker (Patriots), Devin White (Buccaneers), and traded for former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick, Kenny Pickett to presumptively be Jalen Hurts’ backup quarterback.
Philadelphia Eagles Look to Rebuild Through The Trenches in 2024
According to CBS Sports’ latest 2024 NFL Draft projections, the Philadelphia Eagles could be looking to add some
youth and versatility in the form of Duke offensive lineman, Graham Barton. Future Hall of Fame center, Jason
Kelce announced his retirement this off-season, and the former Duke product is expected to potentially best serve an
NFL team at center, while also making starts for the Blue Devils at all five positions along the offensive line.
Graham Barton is a Swiss Army knife that can fulfill a variety of roles along that offensive line. His long-term fit may be unknown but, for now, he gives them insurance at a variety of positions in the event of injury.”
Philadelphia Eagles’ Whirlwind 2023 Season
Following a season where they were a questionable pass interference call away from potentially winning Super Bowl
57, the Philadelphia Eagles were locked and loaded heading into 2023. A 10-1 start to their bounce-back campaign
had everyone in ‘The City of Brotherly Love’ booking their Super Bowl 58 tickets…however, a 1-5 end to their regular
season saw Nick Siranni and co. lose not just all of their momentum, but the NFC East divisional title. The Eagles
downward spiral would continue in the NFC Wild Card Round as the team was dominated from start-to-finish to the
.500 Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the tune of a 32-9 score.
