Harmes arrives at the Kennel
The former Demon joins the red, white and blue in exchange for a future selection in the 2024 national draft.
James Harmes is officially a Western Bulldog.
The 28-year-old joins the red, white and blue in exchange for the Bulldogs’ future third-round selection in the 2024 national draft.
Standing at 186cm, Harmes has played many roles across his time in the AFL, most notably through the forward and midfield lines in the 2021 season.
Bulldogs’ General Manager of List Management and Recruiting Sam Power welcomed the experience and versatility of Harmes to the Kennel.
“James comes to us with plenty of experience, having played over 150 games and winning a premiership across his nine years in the system,” Power said.
“His defensive mindset and ability to cover the ground will add to our midfield group, while he also has the versatility to play in a variety of roles.
“We look forward to welcoming James and his family to VU Whitten Oval in the coming weeks.”
