Steelers Allow Kenny Pickett to Enter
Despite a rib ailment, the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers might play in Week 9.

Pittsboro, PA In Week 9, the Pittsburgh Steelers are offering Kenny Pickett a chance to play against the Tennessee Titans. Before start, head coach Mike Tomlin stated that the team will decide on their quarterback throughout the game.

He tried warming up afterwards, but it didn’t allow him to play again. Tomlin stated that Pickett has no structural injury and that they should base their decision on whether or not to play him on how he performs in practice.

If Pickett is out, the Steelers will turn to Mitch Trubisky as their starter. Trubisky is 2-3 as a starter in Pittsburgh, but threw two interceptions after replacing Pickett in Week 8.

Mason Rudolph is available as a backup for the Steelers.

Pittsburgh will hold a full practice on Wednesday before they host the Titans on Thursday night. Tomlin said Pickett will be tested then before a final decision is made.
