Four-Star DB (’25) Jett White is scheduled to commit during the All-American Bowl this year.
Jett White, a junior defensive back from Miami (Fla.) Edison, has narrowed his college options to ten and set his commitment date.
Among the best cover corners in the ’25 class is White. According to the 247Sports Composite, he is presently ranked as the No. 31 cornerback and the No. 270 player in the country.
On January 6, White will make his commitment in this year’s All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
“I’m still trying to figure out my decision, but the date is set in stone,” stated White. “It’s a day to day process for me but I’m confident I’ll have it locked in by the 6th.”
Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and USC make up White’s final ten.
Alabama: “It’s Bama, and if you’re a corner, who wouldn’t want to get coached up by the best (Nick Saban)?”
Florida: “They’re doing really well in recruiting and are on the rise.” It won’t be long until they return to the top, in my opinion.
Louisville: “For me, Louisville is like a home away from home. I adore Coach Brohm’s work with the ‘Ville, and their football team plays thrilling games.”
Maryland: “They seem to be a few pieces away and have a great coaching staff.”
Miami– “Just like USC, Miami is in my backyard now. They have great history and tradition and coach Cristobal has done a great job recruiting.”
Ohio State– “ They have great facilities and I really like coach Walton and coach Duhart a lot. Plus I’ll have a chance to battle against the best receivers in the country every day in practice.”
Oregon– “Oregon is a team on the rise and I like coach Dan Lanning a lot.”
Penn State– “I love Terry Smith and I think I could be the next Joey Porter in their scheme.”
USC– “USC is home for me and I have a great relationship with Donte Williams. He’s been like family to me.”
Among that group, White said a few schools are currently pushing hardest.
“I would say Florida is on me the hardest right now but it’s close,” White said. “Oregon and Penn State are right there too but I feel like I have a good relationship with all the school.”
White played his first two years of high school ball at Orange (Calif.) before transferring in to Eidson. He has had a strong junior season and is playing with a lot of confidence right now.
He has the length colleges covet in a corner and has worked hard to improve his athleticism and twitch over the last few years.
