“Manchester City will want me” – Forward confident of move to Etihad once he proves himself
The City Football Group have several clubs in their stable and that includes Manchester City, Troyes and Girona.
Girona are second in the table, ahead of Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, and the forward has played a part in their good run this season, managing two goals and four assists from nine games.
The 19-year-old was questioned by Marca about his and the Spanish team’s successful start to the season. They also questioned him about what it means to be a part of the City Football Group and whether Manchester City was his ultimate goal.
“The City Group is a very good project,” he stated. I was in Girona, at PSV. I didn’t play as much at PSV, but I did learn a lot. I must thank PSV for opening the doors for me because the lessons I gained there have contributed to my current state of health at Girona.The City Group’s idea is top notch, and if I succeed, Manchester City might want to hire me.
The Brazilian has expressed a desire to move to the Etihad several times in the past. Savinho said last month that he rejected Arsenal in order to join the City Football Group and pursue his ambition of playing for Manchester City.
