Joshua Dobbs, Who Left the Cardinals, Made History
Joshua Dobbs, a former quarterback with the Arizona Cardinals, made history with the Minnesota Vikings.
* Arizona Some things operate strangely, but it doesn’t seem like former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Joshua Dobbs would make any changes.
He now has to go through the entire procedure again.
Dobbs was moved to the Minnesota Vikings last Tuesday at the trade deadline, having already being sold to Arizona prior to the regular season. Kirk Cousins’ season-ending achilles injury meant that Jaren Hall was the starter going into Week 9.
But then there came a curveball, exactly as Dobbs was used to. After Hall was knocked out, Dobbs took over for the Vikings. Lacking practice reps and the playbook, Dobbs overcame a rough start to lead the club to victory.
The former Cardinals quarterback has already been announced as the starter for Minnesota’s next game. He became the second quarterback since 1950 to start for three teams in one calendar year, joining Baker Mayfield.
