Ange Postecoglou, who promised to support Richarlison through his psychological issues, claims that some football players fall into the trap of believing they are immune to life’s troubles.

After leaving a 5-1 victory over Bolivia last week, the Tottenham and Brazil forward sobbed uncontrollably. He later admitted that his response had nothing to do with his play, but rather the stress brought on by months of off-field turmoil.

No one has a perfect life, I’ll say that, remarked Spurs manager Postecoglou.

Sometimes when we watch footballers perform well, we assume they have access to all the resources they require and lead a flawless existence. However, it doesn’t mean you’re immune to life itself, so I’m sure each athlete in our locker room is going through something.

The Tottenham and Brazil forward sobbed inconsolably after being substituted in a 5-1 victory over Bolivia last week, later stating that his response was

I believe that occasionally players fall into the trap of believing that due of the position they are in, everything in their lives should be ideal. However, this is not how life is. You are not immune to the things life throws at you because of what you do.’What I will say is that no one has a perfect life,’ said Spurs manager Postecoglou. ‘Sometimes we look at footballers and they do things well and we think they have all the money they need and that’s a perfect life. But that doesn’t make you immune from life itself, so I’m sure that every player in our dressing room is dealing with something.’ I think sometimes players fall into the trap of believing that their problems are solely related to their performance.

‘This morning there are undoubtedly parents and others who havehad a difficult few days, but they must still show up for work in order to keep their job because that is a fact of life. That’s essentially the piece of advice I offer to every gamer.

According to reports, Richarlison’s issues have been ongoing for the past 18 months and have to do with shattered trust with some of his closest friends and family members as well as business ties.

The 26-year-old stated that he would seek psychological assistance when he returned to Tottenham, and Postecoglou assured him that he would get all the assistance he needed.

The Spurs manager continued, “With all the players, they all get whatever help and assistance they require here.” Because most of it is handled internally, it doesn’t necessarily take place in plain sight. But we offer the players all the assistance they require.

Sometimes they ask for aid, and other times we provide it. We’ll therefore assist Richy in getting what he needs to the location he desires.

‘From our standpoint, he put it,’
