Aaron Bradshaw Set to Return to Practice for Kentucky BasketballAaron Bradshaw Set to Return to Practice for Kentucky Basketball - Sports Illustrated Kentucky Wildcats News, Analysis and More

Kentucky basketball is finally getting one of their big men back. One of Kentucky basketball’s big guys is returning at last.

According to KSR’s Sources Say podcast, seven-foot-one, 226-pound rookie Aaron Bradshaw, a five-star recruit, is anticipated to return to practice today.

After missing the first five games of the season due to surgery, Bradshaw is finally healthy and there’s a slim possibility he may play against Miami the following week.

Of fact, Coach John Calipari could decide not to start Bradshaw in a game against one of Kentucky’s tougher opponents; therefore, it appears more possible that he will play in a game against UNC Wilmington on December 2 or against Penn on December 9.

Bradshaw’s return to the Kentucky starting lineup has made life much simpler for veteran Tre Mitchell, who has been the Wildcats’ starting center despite being a 6-foot-9 tweener who can play both the four and the five. In their frontcourt, the Wildcats would undoubtedly love to have some additional height beyond Mitchell.
