Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck is aiming to keep his team in the race for an SEC title and a spot in the College Football Playoff. Beck is also considered one of the top quarterback prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft. Although his start to the season has been somewhat inconsistent, he remains a potential first-round pick. Through the first seven games, Beck has passed for 1,993 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions, with a 66% completion rate. Heading into the rivalry game against the Florida Gators on Nov. 2, he had thrown five interceptions in his last two games, a stat that might concern NFL scouts. In an Oct. 7 mock draft for CBS Sports, Ryan Wilson proposed an intriguing scenario where the New York Jets trade up into the first round, moving from No. 41 to No. 32 with the Minnesota Vikings to select Beck.
