The Blues intend to return to the Championship the following season and are getting ready for life in League One.

With the goal of regaining their promotion, Chris Davies has signed eight new players to long-term contracts.

He is now interested in signing Fulham’s young prospect Harris and looking to investigate the loan market.

Birmingham is reportedly in the running to recruit the 19-year-old midfield player on a season-long loan.

Harris, who came through the Fulham system, made an impression when on loan at Exeter City in the second half of the previous campaign.

He played in 21 League One games for a team that finished 13th in the standings, scoring four goals.

One of the main reasons Birmingham is interested in recruiting the teenage midfielder is that he has League One experience.

Harris’s deal is set to expire in 2026, although Fulham has the option to extend it by one more year.
